Started two-year
Intermediate course in Arts & Commerce
MES College offered Pr-University course as Mysore University abolished the Intermediate course
Started aided Degree course with Arts & Commerce combinations with existing Pre-University as composite College.
Introduced the PCM & PCB combinations at PU level
Started the Honours course in Sanskrit, History and Sociology
One year Pre-University became a two year Pre-University course
Government abolished all Honours courses in affiliated colleges
Composite MES College bifurcated into:
- Independent aided MES PU College
- Independent aided MES Degree College
Celebrated Diamond Jubilee & Founder's Day
Introduced PCMC combination
